Gary Shakespeare Company is a 501c3 Not-for-profit organization established in 2013. We are dedicated to bringing actors and audiences of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds together in the enjoyment of the works of William Shakespeare and in the shared experience of live performance.

Due to the pandemic, Gary Shakespeare Company made the decision back in May of 2020 to move forward with our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream using Zoom. We rehearsed all summer, and captured our work using OBS and OpenShot software. We learned how to perform, record, and distribute this new mode of performance as we went and apologize for any quality issues.

Although we would have loved to perform in person, we hope escaping to the land of fairies in this virtual performance brought us closer together. This production was made possible in part by a generous grant from the Indiana Arts Council. We would like to thank the IAC for their support of performing arts in Indiana through this very difficult time.
